WEETU women in the news!

Narrowly missing out on the top prize of £2,000 in the recent Business in a Box competition was Sandra Hart, who completed WEETU's Is Enterprise for Me? course in February and is part of the Enterprise Circle Move Any Mountain. This article appeared in the Norwich Evening News earlier this week:
"Being a parent can be a lonely experience, according to childminder and mother-of-one Sandra Hart, and the support of other mums and dads can be key to survival.
Now a website being drawn up by Ms Hart could offer a perfect tool for parents of under-fives to share their concerns - and receive advice and messages of support from others who have been through similar experiences.
Ms Hart, 32, from New Costessey, has already secured the website name, www.theunder5snetwork.co.uk, which will provide a social networking site for parents for support and socialising and a directory of information and support services available locally. It will also offer a page designed specially for dads.
The site is due to be launched on July 1.
Ms Hart said: “The website will help parents get friendship and support and find out what's going on their the area.
“It can be quite lonely being a parent. Nobody ever gets taught how to be a parent, but often you do it by instinct.
“Although many people get advice from their family, that doesn't always fit with what parents want.
“On the social networking site you can go and chat, describe the way you are feeling, and others will be able to say we have been through that and this is what we did.” "
